student who is blind reads English on the front of a braille flashcard and Spanish on the back of the flashcard. Then, he scans the NaviLens code on the flashcard to hear the Spanish spoken.

The very good people at NaviLens, led by Javier Pita, CEO, and Founder, have loaned me 400 NaviLens codes to create English-Spanish flashcards. Thank you, NaviLens!

These Navilens-powered talking braille flashcards are based on the flashcards pictured below, which Kaplan, which acquired Barron's some years ago, offered.

A box of "Barron's 201 Spanish Words You Need to Know" flashcards is displayed. The box is yellow with bold black and red text. Several flashcards are spread out in front of the box, showing Spanish words along with their English translations, phonetic pronunciations, and categories such as "adjectives" and "nouns." One visible card features the Spanish word "nuevo" (new) with its pronunciation written as "nweh-boh." The flashcards are designed for language learning, with a clean and structured layout.

You can purchase the "201 Spanish Words" flashcard set from Amazon using this link: 201 Spanish Words You Need to Know Flashcards (Barron's Foreign Language Guides) By the way, I'm not an Amazon affiliate. I just found these great flashcards, wrote to Barron's (now Kaplan's), and asked them for permission to create braille flashcards based on them. They said, "Yes!" I have permission to produce and give away up to 100 sets of braille flashcards. The wonderful people at Kaplan also permitted me to add Navilens codes to braille flashcards to make them even more helpful to blind students who are braille readers.
